moments: about #1 [deutsche version]
I am mad about this short run, fluent variations. About
these manageable versions. About this condensing of meaning. Showing pieces of art at
unusual locations, most of them not public adressed. But the act, the work, the meaning,
summarised by a person, won't leafe the world, when it once happened.

On May the 23rd I
noted a statement of the quantum physic Anton Zeilinger in my Logbook: "Knowledge is
more importand than reality." Before that, a
session with the photographer Peter Weissensteiner made clear to me: "Here we
go!"
In this session I combined different elements of my
concepts. |
[BIG
VIEW] [Transit Zone #10] The previous history of this moment was longing over
some years. I will sketch it here ond show some of it's checkpoints. Almost that striking
like my session with Weissensteiner was a moment with Bob.

Robert Adrian X. I had to hold
a lecture in the
"Depot" in Vienna. Christian
Eisenberger made me a present. A beautiful, small
and very clear work: "Compressed Space".
I handed it over to Bob, pointed the camera at him and
said: "Present it to me!"
The photograph made clear, this a mode I got to work with
intensely.

Mobile Equipments are very important on my
trail. Whenever it is possible, I paint them yellow. This means mostly some Containers of
differnt size. They help me to define the space I need for presentations.

An example ... yes,
it is, what it seems to be. One of my Containers, a work of Coco Gordon
within, covered, in a locked up estate car, omn a deserted car park in front of a big
construction site. You see, it is a little bit like
putting a mirror in front of a mirror. I like this image of the car park very much. It
became, what I am able to show, but the primary event is contained IN that image. You got,
how it works?
But one of the positions I like the most is the place near
the beehives, out there near the fields I made the central terrain of my project.
[GROSSES BILD] |
On purpose containing a 12-piece-work of Walpurga
Ortag-Glanzer, titled "Honey". Since the summer of 2004 I prooved different
options of ma "short run exhibitions".
|
This website will be
the setting of a focal point on that method. As a work in progress on our way to Basel (Switzerland). And pointing at the Gleisdorf- Project "Die Aussenhaut der
Innenstadt" ("the downtown outer skin"). But as prelude three images with
Peter Weissensteiner ...
