Veronika Dreier

Veronika Dreier, Medien- und Objektkünstlerin, arbeitet mit den bekannten Bildern der Massenproduktion und des massenmedialen Alltags. Schon Mitte der 70er war einer der Schwerpunkte der Auseinandersetzung die Situation der Frau und deren Repräsentation im öffentlichen Raum und in den Medien. 1982-1992 Herausgeberin und Redakteurin der feministischen Kulturzeitschrift Eva & Co und Gründung der gleichnamigen Künstlerinnengemeinschaft.

Editor of the (first) feminist culture magazine in Europe, Eva & Co (1982-1992) and head of this artists' association. The first years of my artwork are in connection with Eva & Co. For two years the organisation was the leadership of the IAWA - International Association of Women in the Arts. (Organication of international exhibitions). Co-president of the organisation KUNST: //ABSEITS VOM NETZ (-1998), committee member of the art-organisation W.A.S. (Women's Art Support).
