In the year 2002 you could find messages like that in the streets --
"no time no room no name" --, when you were walking round in the City of Graz.
But if you met artist Christian Eisenberger face to face, he prefered to act and stay
anonymous. (Still the same in 2003, occuring at the "conspiracy of poets".)
Like he did then at the "Art Club Manhattan" in St.Petersburg
(Russia), where we joined a mix of poetry-session and rock-concert. It was the night, when
an austrian colleague tried to burn Eisenberger's note-book and I had a quarrel with that
guy about the question of book burning.
As you see, the flames did not reach the word "Zweifel" =
"doubt". The fire raiser, who found it funny to answer my demand by shouting
"Heil Hitler!", had to face an angry hulk of russian guy, who obviously felt
pissed to hear words like that at the club "Manhattan".
Last December, when I met Eisenberger at the flat of curator Mirjana
Selakov, we did a little video-session and talking about options ... I found his current
note-book at the table.
I would say: Nice omen, to see the word "exit" at the cover.
